Peter Fusaro. Peter has a long history of commitment to innovative clean energy technology that foster economic growth. He is focused on renewable energy project development & finance, cleantech commercialization and emissions reductions throughout the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Having worked 37 years in clean energy space in both the private and public sectors, he has unique expertise into the interaction these sectors and their impact on financial market development. Peter was partner in Energy & Environment Capital Partners, a cleantech vc in New York from 2002-2003.

Peter has been an expert witness on several of the Enron proceedings and merchant power cases in 2002-2003. Today, he is consulting on Dodd Frank compliance for energy trading for oil, gas and electric power commodities. He is a former regulator at the US DOE where he worked in the Office of Regulatory Programs on oil & gas programs. He co-wrote EIS on LNG safety and siting and has been involved in LNG projects globally.

He is the author of 16 books on energy and environmental trading and risk management including 6 on energy trading including the New York Times best seller “What Went Wrong at Enron.” Coined the term “Green Trading” which describes the triple convergence of emissions trading, renewable energy trading and energy efficiency trading. Peter is EVP for Energy Efficiency for True Market Solutions in San Francisco ( which focuses on sustainability through energy cost reductions, waste minimization, and water management. Peter is also on Agrion’s Solar Financing Advisory Board.
